Sales
You will be responsible for the full sales cycle - this includes:
Using your network to prospect and develop new potential customers through a variety of methods
Hunting! You are the hunter and know your best techniques including trade shows, networking meetings, dinners, and any other lead development activities.
Coordinating with Marketing, and Operations to ensure the necessary information is gathered to facilitate a quick go-live and maintain a satisfied customer
Your qualification:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales training in lieu of degree. Knowledge of electronics devices, computer server software is highly recommended.
Experience selling on a consultative, long cycle sale with the ability to present solutions to clients, and to formulate creative solutions that meet their needs
Experience with Lutron, Leviton, Accute nLight, Wattstopper lighting control products is highly appreciated.
Highly-motivated sales individual with a solid track record in closing business with consistent achievement in meeting assigned quota and performance targets
Job Tasks:
Prospect and qualify new sales opportunities including making regular sales calls (in person, by phone, by email, etc.) to strengthen client relationships, developing and following up on leads, and solicit new business.
Developing sales channels and directly driving sales results. Our market is the contractors, electricians, and electric distributors, commercial sector, working across education, healthcare, auto dealerships, hospitality, and more.
Listen and identify customer needs
Effectively communicate features and benefits of lighting control solutions
Timely follow up on requests for services and products.
Ability to present in-depth product knowledge of the service offerings of the company
Develop quotes, scopes of work, and pricing for clients.
Properly enter and update sales leads and prospects into Database (spreadsheet)
Work through a daily list of sales activities
Communicate and report sales forecasts to management
Participate in sales forecasting and planning for establishing and meeting sales quotas and revenue goals.
Attend sales meetings to review processes and sales opportunities
Participate in training programs
Update documentation of internal processes and procedures related to products, duties and responsibilities
Review publications, web materials to remain up-to-date with offerings
Exhibit at and/or attend trade shows as required.
Follow up with clients upon job completions to review the installation and discuss product maintenance.
Other tasks/duties as assigned
This position is located either in Los Angeles metro area or San Francisco metro area.
